The 2019 Madison Christmas Parade is set for 9 a.m. on Dec. 7. This year’s theme is “Holiday Heroes” and is designed to honor those who put their lives on the line so that others can enjoy freedom.

The parade will travel up Old Canton Road from Ridgecrest Baptist Church, turn onto Main Street and end at the Red Caboose for the awards ceremony. There will be hot chocolate and cookies, plus entertainment.

Flora is hosting its tree lighting and annual parade at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14. This year’s theme is “Christmas in Farm Country.” 

Ridgeland’s Christmas Parade is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. It will go through Olde Towne Station, Jackson Street, Sunnybrook Road and Ridgeland Avenue.

Canton will host its annual Holiday Parade at 6 p.m. on Dec. 5 in downtown Canton.
