Barbara Schoonover Pittman, 87, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2023, at St. Catherine’s Village, Marion Hall in Madison, Miss. 

Henry Joseph Rings, 97, was born on March 4, 1926, in Jackson, MS to Ethel Schlosser Rings and Louis Rings. 

Barbara Elizabeth Bush Gatlin passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at home after a long battle against cancer.

Robie Lee Kight, Jr. of Madison died unexpectedly March 8, 2023, at St. Dominic Hospital. 

Joyce Yates Britt of Madison, met her Savior March 6, 2023 just days before her 90th birthday. 

Kay F. Knight, 69 passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Visitation was at Breeland Funeral Home on Sunday, March 5, 2023, from 3 – 5 pm and on Monday from 10 am until the 11 am chapel service. Interment was in the Canton Cemetery.

Services to celebrate the life of Ouida Barnett Atkins were held on March 4 at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Mississippi.  

Ruth Carroll Rigby passed away February 18, 2023. She was born February 10, 1929 in Lundell, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Oscar and Lela Carroll and was raised in Walthall, MS.

Ron, age 71, of Madison passed away February 1, 2023 at his home.

John Alna Travis, III passed away on January 23, 2023, from injuries sustained in an accident while doing repairs on his home. He was 63 years old. 

JoAnn Smith-Vaniz Phillips, of Canton, MS was born December 23, 1943 and passed away January 5, 2022 at the age of 79. 

Coach Jim "Big Nasty" Carmody, 89, of Madison, Mississippi passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. 

Frederick W. Perian, age 90, passed away peacefully at home on December 14, 2022, after battling pancreatic cancer. Fred, the son of Frank and Elsie (Kuschel) Perian, was born at his home on the kitchen table in Detroit, Michigan.

Ottie Jean Lewis Wells Gray, who went by the nicknames of Tick and Ott, passed away peacefully at home on November 25, 2022, at the age of 95. 

Billie Charlotte Harvison, 88, a longtime resident of Madison, passed away November 23 at Brookdale Summer Ridge in Rockwall TX. 

Ms. Gretchen Catherine Jahncke Clarke finished her journey in this life on November 24th, 2022, appropriately, on Thanksgiving Day. 

Ed Robin “Buddy” Mangum died peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Buddy was born in Magee, MS February 7, 1943. 

Harold was born on May 24, 1923 to Harold and Helen Mayer in San Antonio, TX.
