2 teens shot; officials investigating

Madison County Sheriff’s officials are investigating a Monday morning shooting that injured two teens.

The call came in at 11:55 a.m. Monday that a shooting had occurred at 130 Branch Quarters Road in Madison County north of Canton.

When deputies arrived they found two juvenile males shot and transported them to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One suspect was in custody being interviewed Monday afternoon. 

“This is still under investigation,” said Heath Hall, spokesman for Madison County Sheriff’s Office. “They are interviewing the suspect but have not charged anyone at this time.”
