Alexandra Workman to wed George Baladi on Jan. 2

Mr. and Mrs. Terry D. Workman of Puryear, Tennessee, proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Alexandra Catherine Doran Workman to George Joseph Baladi, son of Ms. Alicia Clifton Baladi and Mr. Joseph George Baladi , both of Madison, Mississippi. A January wedding has been planned.

Miss Workman graduated in 2016 from Calloway County High School in Murray, Kentucky, with honors. She is a 2020 cum laude graduate from Mississippi State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Alexandra is the granddaughter of Ms. Earleen Shemwell Doran and the late Mr. Curtis Wayne Doran of Murray, Kentucky, and Ms. Annalou O’Bryan Workman and the late Mr. Tommy Dan Workman of Hazel, Kentucky.

Mr. Baladi graduated in 2015 from St. Joseph Catholic School in Madison, Mississippi, with honors. He is a 2020 graduate from Mississippi State University where he earned his Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree.

George is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Avent Sneed and the late Mr. William Lynn Clifton all of Oxford, Mississippi, and Dr. and Mrs. George Youseff Baladi of Ridgeland, Mississippi.

George will be pursuing his Master’s degree in engineering in the fall. He is employed with the United States Army Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg, Mississippi, as an EIT.

A private, family ceremony will be held on January 2, 2021 at the Mill in Starkville, Mississippi.
