Donald Lee Seago was born on September 17, 1943 to Calvin Flow and Mary Isom Seago. He passed away at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson on August 19, 2021.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland at 4:00 pm, with visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

Don is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rosemary Moore Seago; four children, Paul Seago (Gail), Lee Seago (Gina), David Seago (Stacy) and Andrew Seago; nine grandchildren, Katelyn “KaKa”, Stephen, Peyton, Timothy, Bryant, Anna Claire, Mary Grace, Ellie, and Annie Lous; and one great grandchild.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Calvin House Seago.

Donald was born in Memphis, Tennessee and was raised in Senatobia, Mississippi. He attended Senatobia High School, and upon graduation, he attended Mississippi State University and The University of Tennessee Dental School. Donald practiced oral surgery from 1973 until 2019 and also served the dental community as a board member of several dental associations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Donald was a devout Christian man and an active member of Meadowbrook Church of Christ in Jackson, MS. His favorite pastimes were playing golf with his friends, attending Mississippi State sporting events and volunteering in church activities. He also served his country in the United States Navy in Vietnam. Most of all, he loved his Savior Jesus Christ, his wife Rosemary and his four sons. He spent much of his family time in Starkville watching numerous sporting events. He was so excited to be able to attend the College World Series in 2021 with family to watch the Bulldogs win their first National Championship. 

Don will be remembered most for his desire to know Jesus and his love for his family.
