Fiiz Drinks serving up some tasty creations
Eliza Wibbenmeyer and her family look forward to bringing Fiiz Drinks, a Utah-based brand that specializes in transforming familiar sodas into new creations.
Wibbenmeyer owns the Fiiz Drinks in Gluckstadt with her older sisters, Sarah Adams and Amanda Bodin, and their father, Kevin Lightheart.
Fiiz offers a variety of syrups, purees and other add ons, including cream and fresh lime juice to popular soda brands like Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew. Wibbenmeyer says there over 100,000 possible combinations on their menu.
A 2022 Canton Academy grad, Wibbenmeyer grew up in Madison County, but the family lived in Utah for some time before she was born and still visits family out here. She said Fiiz is one of several brands offering the service in Utah.
“We just fell in love with these sodas,” Wibbenmeyer said. “We are obsessed.”
The store also sells snacks like cake bites and popcorn and other drinks as well.
She said the family thought Fiiz would do well in Mississippi. They opened the new location at 272 Calhoun Station Parkway on Oct. 10 and held a grand opening and ribbon cutting two days later.
“We have been pretty busy,” she said. “The community has been so welcoming, and I think they love Fiiz as much as we do.”
Their menu includes a variety of pre-made combinations — or customers can concoct their own. Wibbenmeyer is a fan of the Beauty School Dropout, a Dr. Pepper with pineapple and coconut syrup, strawberry puree and cream.
“It is heavenly,” Wibbenmeyer said. “It is so good.”
With over 50 syrups alone, Wibbenmeyer said they do not have room for every named combo on their menu and noted the staff is constantly experimenting with new combinations. Recently, she said they have been experimenting with a cucumber syrup.
To see all Fiiz has to offer, Wibbenmeyer, recommends customers download their app which includes all of their named offerings and potential add-ons as well as a loyalty program.
