Gisela Irmgard Boykin, of Madison, Mississippi passed away on  August 22, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. 

Gisela was born in Hinzweiler, Germany to Otto Kleres and Elisabeth Kleres on May 4, 1932. 

Gisela came to the United States after her marriage to Charles Ray Boykin and began the life of a US Air Force military wife. Upon her husband's retirement, Gisela began her career as a business owner and hair stylist having owned several salons in Jackson area including Quarter Coiffures. 

Survivors include Gisela's husband of 63 years, Charles Ray Boykin; three children, Charlie Boykin, Liz Hulsey and Becky Klingler; grandchildren, Courtney Chamblee, Tony Klingler IV, Drew Boykin and Hunter Hulsey; and numerous great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a sister in Germany, Liesel Lang along with several nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Gisela Boykin's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
