The Journal is offering a free service to help local businesses get information out to the public as they re-open following the coronavirus shutdown.

These free listings can be placed at madisoncounty.whatsopenhere.news will remain until the situation returns to normal.

Users can change their listing at any time and the newspaper encourages businesses to update their listing often.

There are premium services that featured placement, contact links and visuals to drive more business.



This premium service includes a downloadable menu or brochure, a link to the web site, a phone number to call and/or an e-mail contact, a logo, a photo, social media links and more! Each field is optional. Update or change everything at any time.

"Offer a special deal to customers. We'll highlight your listing with a 'Deal' icon to make you stand out. You can change your deal any time," the paper said.

Churches, schools, clubs and other organizations are eligible.

The premium service includes an announcement listing in the printed newspaper.
