Recipients embody the highest degree of professionalism, serve their communities, craft outstanding work in the practice of public relations, and exhibit a commitment to advancing the PR profession,” said Bonnie Jackson, at-large PRAM board member and 2020 awards chair.

Kennebrew serves as the development coordinator for Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project and chief operating officer of The Bean Path – a newer nonprofit. She spearheads MVLP’s legal clinic in conjunction with public relations, grant writing and fundraising. Her recent work to strategically increase MVLP’s media appearances brought in more volunteers, clients and donations; one commending the organization’s service innovation during the pandemic was particularly significant. In the last year, Kennebrew also has offered her expertise to small businesses through two workshops free of charge.
