Lydia “Dennie” Null McIntosh, 73, of Madison, Mississippi passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Parkway Funeral Home, with a graveside service immediately following at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.

Dennie was born on February 23, 1947 in Meridian, Mississippi to Wilburn and Imelda Beeman Null. She graduated from Meridian High School, and upon finishing, she attended Meridian Junior College. She later graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and taught school at Northeast Elementary School in Meridian before returning home to care for her children. Dennie married her husband of forty five years on August 15, 1975 after going together for seven years.

Dennie was a devoted mother and an incredibly supportive wife, as well as a talented decorator. She was also an avid supporter of the Madison Ridgeland Academy Athletic Program. She is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Kenneth R. McIntosh, Sr.; her children, Stephanie Rayburn, Kenneth “Randy” McIntosh, Jr. (Janna Russell McIntosh), and Steven McIntosh; and her grandchildren, William Lamar Blackstock, Walton McKay Rayburn, Savannah Lesile McIntosh, Lydia Annette McIntosh, Millicent Mae McIntosh, and Kenneth “Mack” R. McIntosh, III. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn Null and Imelda Beeman Null and her sister, Linda McDonald. 

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Beau Ridge Memory Care for their loving care of Dennie over the past sixteen months, with a special thank you to Vee Jones (her nurse) and Debbie Gooch (director).
