Madison County Schools go to distance learning ahead of snow threat

Madison County Schools are transitioning to distance learning on Monday due to inclement weather, the district said on Facebook Sunday evening.

Madison County was under a Winter Storm Warning. Total snow accumulations of two to four inches, with locally higher amounts, are possible. 

Other announcements include:

• All metro-area Catholic schools will transition to virtual on Monday, including St Joe and St. Anthony in Madison and St. Richard in Jackson.

• Canton Public Schools will go to online learning as regularly scheduled.
The Office of Child Nutrition Meals-To-Go program will also be closed. Information about virtual learning was posted on Facebook.
