Miss America Teen from Madison

Miss Mississippi Teen Brooke Bumgarner of Madison was recently named Miss America Teen 2nd Alternate at the Florida pageant that kicked off last week.
In addition to winning 2nd Alternate, Bumgarner won the preliminary Evening Gown competition.
Bumgarner won Miss Mississippi’s Teen in April. For the talent portion of the competition, Bumgarner sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
As the second runner-up, Bumgarner earned a $13,000 scholarship. A Madison Central grad, she is the daughter of Brad and Kami Bumgarner.
