Convenience store under construction on Highway 51
Construction has begun on a convenience store located on the corner of U.S. Highway 51 and Colony Park Boulevard.

A new convenience store in the northwest corner of Highway 51 and Colony Park Boulevard should be complete this summer, developers say.
Rav Bedi, the developer of the project, said the Shell-branded station will have space for two retail stores and a restaurant with a drive-through.
He said he is still talking to potential tenants for the retail and restaurant space but hopes to be able to make an announcement as soon as early March.
He said the building has been under construction for about 90 days and hopes to have it completed within the next six months.
A conditional use permit for the drive-through and architectural review was presented to aldermen in June 2021 where they were approved.
