Michael Earl “Mike” Dowell was born June 17, 1950 in Alexandria, LA to Clarence and Virginia Dowell. Mike lived in Alexandria through the sixth grade at which time his parents moved the family to Greenville, MS to open a Burger Chef franchise. Three years later, the family sold the store and moved to Jackson, MS where his parents lived the remainder of their lives. more

Clarice Ann Skeen O’Neal passed away October 27, 2020 at home with her family. Her life was generous, kind, and selfless. Clarice was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on January 29, 1945 to Charles and Mary Elizabeth Skeen. Her family moved to South Florida when she was a young child. Her childhood and teenage years were spent enjoying the warm weather and casual lifestyle of south Florida with her brothers Dick, Bill, and Johnny.  During those years she developed an independent spirit and zeal for life. more

Derwood Ray Boyles was promoted into Glory on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.  He was born on March 20, 1928, to Silas Boyles and Lurline Windham Boyles in Lorena, Mississippi. His mother died at his birth, but when he was 18 months old, his Dad brought a new bride home and it was love at first sight for Derwood and his new mother, Ethel Carr Boyles.  The young family lived in Forest, MS where Derwood began the first grade.  His family then moved to Jackson where he lived the rest of his life.   more
