Over 350 participants and 500 volunteers gathered at Freedom Ridge Park in Ridgeland on October 19th for the 2022 TOPSoccer Jamboree. 

Rebels victorious in first round

The Rebels were victorious in their first round 35 - 0.  They will travel to Lee Academy in Clarksdale 

TCA Lady Rebels come up short in game 3 of the championship series 3-2 to Marshall Academy.  This ended their bid for back to back 4A state championships.

Quarterback Bryce Warriner went 13/22 153 yards 2 touchdowns passes and 2 interceptions and 1 rushing TD.

Leading the Rebels offense was Quarterback Bryce Warriner who had 1 rushing touchdown, along with 2 passing touchdowns, Kamp Shepherd, and Jacob Clearman both had receiving Touchdowns.  

The Rebels defense was solid Friday night against the Riverfield Raiders.

TCA was victorious in the game 49-0 over Bowling Green last Friday.

Undefeated Madison soccer team wins championship

MADISON — Kevin Crothers said he had the honor of coaching an undefeated soccer team in the Madison Futbol Club and Mississippi Soccer Association (MSA) that not only won every game but also the championship last weekend.

The Jackson Prep Lady Patriots girls basketball team and Coach Michael McAnally were honored by the Mississippi Senate on Wednesday with Senate Concurrent Resolution 570 saluting their win of the 2022 MAIS Overall State Championship.

Madison Central High School senior Regal Perry received his appointment to attend The U.S. Military Academy at West Point Thursday, January 27. Madison Central High School senior Kimberly McCaffrey has signed a national letter of intent to swim at the University of Tampa.
