Captain Thompson Berry Dickson, 85, passed away on May 22, 2024, from an unexpected heart attack. He was very proud to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps as a pilot and in the music program at Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church. He was editor and publisher of the Magee Courier in Magee, MS and one of the three incorporators of the Mississippi Press Association where he served as President in 1978.
Tom is survived by his beautiful wife, Diane, his two daughters; Beth and Lynn, his stepdaughters; Jennifer and Cassie, and his 10 beloved grandchildren.
Service was held at Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church on May 28, 2024.
