Madison mayor presented flag

Members of the Annandale Chapter of the DAR presented Mayor Mary Hawkins Butler with a U.S. flag that flew recently over the Daughters of the American Revolution headquarters in Washington, D.C.
The mayor said the city will proudly begin flying the flag on the flagpole outside the new city Hall when the building is dedicated.
Members joining the mayor are Amy E. Michaud, Chapter Regent Myra Cook, Ann Holliday, Liz Covington and Beth Herring.
