School Street to be closed Wednesday, Thursday for overlay
School Street from the intersection of Highway 51 to Old Town Crossing (railroad tracks) will be closed beginning Wednesday morning, Jan. 27 at 8:30 am and Thursday, Jan. 28 at 8:30 am. until rush hour each afternoon.

School Street from the intersection of Highway 51 to Old Town Crossing (railroad tracks) will be closed beginning Wednesday morning, Jan. 27 at 8:30 a.m. and Thursday, Jan. 28 at 8:30 a.m.. until rush hour each afternoon.
The Ridgeland Police Department and the Library will be accessible from U.S. 51. The RPD and Library parking lots connect.
This project is a mill and overlay of School Street in connection with the new City Hall that will open this month.
"Please plan for alternate routes and avoid this area in your travels for the next few days," officials said. "If you are traveling to the Industrial Park area, please use West Jackson Street and enter through Commerce Park Drive or Old Town Crossing along the railroad.
