Gluckstadt Police Chief Barry Hale accepts a $5,000 check from the Gluckstadt Madison Business Alliance at the June 11 city board meeting at City Hall.
The money represents the proceeds raised from the 2024 Stadt Scramble Golf Tournament held, in spite of rain, in May at Lake Caroline.
The department will purchase new gym equipment for the new police department with the donation.
