We are going to leave our study in the book of Acts this week to look at this psalm. This is a psalm of ascents, which means it was likely sung by Israelites as they neared Jerusalem on their way up to worship the Lord at an annual feast, such as Passover.

MRA makes statement against Oak Grove

MRA made a major statement Friday night, blowing out the defending MHSAA 7A state champions, Oak Grove, by a score of 51-13.

Though Ridgeland drew first blood in a non-region matchup against Pearl High School, they dropped their homecoming outing 22-12 to the now 2-2 Pirates.

Canton schools earn ‘C’ rating

The Canton Public School District has earned a “C” rating for the 2023-2024 school year from the Mississippi Department of Education's accountability system.
