Week 9 High School Pick’em

We are just past the midway point of the high school football regular season and are starting to get into some huge matchups between powerhouses throughout the state. Hartfield Academy and MRA highlight our games of the week, with both teams putting together dominant seasons so far. This matchup will be a major one when it comes to playoff seeding in MAIS 6A. 

This week’s guest picker is former MRA and LSU defensive linemen JC Kwasny. Kwasny was a standout in his time with the Patriots in football, soccer, and track and field, winning a state championship in football in 2021. Kwasny signed with Belhaven University out of high school, where he appeared in seven games, before transferring to LSU and joining the football program there.
