Gluckstadt Madison Business Alliance hosting Google business seminar
The Gluckstadt Madison Business Alliance is hosting a breakfast business seminar next Tuesday, with a focus on local marketing powered by Google.
GMBA Executive Director Elizabeth Tyler said this is a great opportunity for small business owners to learn more about harnessing the power of Google to drive their business.
“Google is so important these days to be found by new customers,” Tyler said. “It’s important that business owners take advantage of this so they can continue to grow and, in turn, help grow our communities.”
The seminar will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Hederman Brothers, 247 Industrial Drive North in Gluckstadt.
Marketing specialist Ryan Matthews with Prince Media Group, a Google Premier Partner and the parent company of the Madison County Journal, will discuss the power of Google as foundational to local marketing.
“Google My Business is one of those key tools that get you to the top of searches,” Matthews said. “With GMB, you are claiming your spot on the internet and the vast world of search. GMB is as essential as running water, electricity, or a sign in front of your business. If you don’t have a sign, customers can’t find you.”
